All Saints' Church Cambridge

Music at All Saints' is a joint venture between The Arts Society Cambridge (TAS Cambridge) and The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT), in whose care All Saints’ Church is vested. Our aim is to welcome more visitors to this unique hidden gem, saved from demolition in the early 1980s.

Organised by Penny Robson, who co-ordinated the Fitzwilliam Museum Sunday concerts for many years, we see this series of recitals as central to our project. We are also planning a range of events to include exhibitions, activities for children and guided tours. With the help of garden historian Caroline Holmes we would like to develop the space around the church to make an accessible garden for all, including those with disabilities. An early goal is to raise funds to improve the lighting in the church, so that the unique ornamentation and decorative artwork may be more fully appreciated. Our hope is to one day be flush enough to install a toilet for patrons on site.

TAS Cambridge are also involved in a number of other prestigious projects in Cambridge, most recently at Magdalene College and the David Parr House. Visit our website at www.tascambridge.org.uk to discover more about the benefits of joining and current volunteering opportunities.
