Cancel or delete a free order

Cancel or delete free orders to your event by going to “Orders” (under "Manage Attendees"). Find the order you want to cancel and click "Actions". Then choose to cancel or delete the order. If you're an attendee, you can cancel your free order by going to "Tickets" in your Eventbrite account.

  • 6. Optional: Cancel multiple orders at one time

1. Go to your Event Dashboard.

Log in to your Eventbrite account. Then select your event.

2. Go to "Orders" (under "Manage Attendees").

3. Search for the order.

Use the search bar to search by name, order number, or email.

4. Click "Actions" and choose cancel or delete.

Select the top "Actions" menu to cancel or delete the entire order. To cancel or delete a single ticket, click the "Actions" menu next to that ticket.

  • Cancel this order/ticket: The ticket(s) will be canceled but will show in your refunded/canceled orders. The attendee(s) will receive an email notification.

  • Delete this order/ticket: The ticket(s) will be deleted from your event. The attendee(s) will not receive an email notification.

You can't customize the email sent to attendees when you cancel an order. If you have a specific message for an attendee, email the attendee before you cancel their order.

5. Click "Yes" to confirm.

Canceled or deleted orders can't be restored. If you cancel or delete the wrong tickets, request the attendee re-register or manually create an order for them.

6. Optional: Cancel multiple orders at one time

If you need to cancel multiple orders at once:

  1. Go to "Orders".

  2. Click “Issue multiple refunds”.

  3. Check the box next to each orders you want to cancel.

  4. Click “Refund”, then “Issue refunds”.

Nothing is refunded for a free order, but this will cancel the tickets, and the attendees will receive an email notification. There is not a way to delete multiple tickets at once.
