NYS DEC Environmental Informational Conference

The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) cordially invites municipal planners, NYS Environmental Management Council (EMC) and NYS Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) members to attend an environmental informational conference on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the DEC Headquarters located at 625 Broadway, Albany, NY 12233 from 9:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. This meeting is an opportunity to brief council members and municipalities on DEC’s programs of interest and to provide the knowledge necessary to properly assist them. Lunch will be provided to those attending this meeting. Agenda topics include:

• Stormwater Management, Flood Control and Overflow Notification System
• Recycling/Composting, Solid Waste Management, New Single-Use Plastic Bag Law
• Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act
• Wetlands/Floodplain Mapping and Protection
