Description

BESA Research Hands-on Workshop

- joint event with Brain Vision, LLC

EEG and MEG remain among the most valuable techniques for analysing and understanding human brain function. They enable us to obtain insights into cognitive as well as clinically relevant processes in the human brain at high temporal accuracy. In combination with MRI data, additional accuracy for enhanced spatial precision can be gained.

Target audience

This 2-day hands-on workshop is designed for researchers who use EEG and/or MEG data for the analysis of neurophysiological correlates of human brain activity. It covers the complete range of analysis, from initial data review and processing to advanced source analysis, co-registration with MRI data, connectivity analysis, and statistical analysis.

Things to bring

Participants are asked to bring their own laptop. Downloads for the workshop software and tutorials as well as installation instructions will be provided ahead of the workshop.

About BESA:

BESA GmbH was founded in 1995 by Professor Michael Scherg. BESA Research is a leading commercial software package for EEG and MEG data analysis. Analysis options range from pre-processing to advanced source analysis, coherence, and statistical analysis. BESA Research is used in more than 1500 universities and hospitals world-wide.
