Objectives of the Course:
The objective of the Workshop is to discuss with a panel of experts the potentials of Tissue Microarrays Technology in conjunction with state of the-art Quantitative Digital Pathology Platforms for Research projects and Diagnostic Applications. Particular attention will be given to the establishment of a “High Through-put Tissue Array Pathology Platform” with Hands-on sessions on: TMA’s design and construction, Digital Scanning and Image Analysis tools. The workshop will also cover topics like: “design a research projects using TMA’s”; TMA’s in Biomarker validation; TMS’s in routine diagnostic activities and Cell arrays technology for TMA control and In Stem Cell Technology a slow-cost high-through-put screening method.
Who should participate: Senior Pathologists and histopathologists; basic and applied researchers; Stem Cell researchers, biotechnologists, pharmacologists and bioinformatics; clinical trial specialists, pathology technicians.
