BPA Invitation

Family caregivers, friends and neighbors are all part of a growing pool of care-providers faced with the challenges of providing a supportive environment for our parents and other elders in our community. The options and choices can be overwhelming. So, how can we prepare ourselves to be supportive and informed advocates? Ryan Keller, community liaison and senior specialist on the Peninsula for LivHOME, will discuss caregiver issues, how to stay healthy as we age and the goal of aging in place. She will answer questions and share stories around how to provide and advocate for the best care both through a disjointed medical system and unfamiliar industry of eldercare services. This event is of likely interest to both those in caregiver roles and seniors in our community.

Catherine Hendricks is hosting this event. Refreshments will be available. Attendance is free, but this event is limited to 30 attendees.
