Northwick Open Day Party

The Northwick Open Day Party has been set up to celebrate the fact that this year, the Nystagmus Network Open day is being held at the Centre for Life in Newcastle - hooray :-)

It's a great opportunity to meet and spend time with others who have the condition, or at very least know what it is.

It's a family friendly event with organised acitvites, and you're welcome to attend all or just part of the event (e.g. to fit with travel arrangements and tired little ones). Everyone is welcome.

We are very pleased to announce there will be guest appearances from Nystagmus Nework's Richard Wilson, and "Northwick" the bear himself - a great photo opportunity?

Breaking news... Talented singer/songwriter Ben Haynes will also be performing a set for us. Ben who has nystagmus, has shared the stage with musicians such as the Levellers, Ocean Colour Scene and the Charlatons, and has over 20,000 hits on a YouTube video he edited/posted for the Paralympics (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b6dz6MMHvI) Check out more material at his website - http://www.benhaynesmusic.com/

17.00 - 19.00 Family time with children's activities and toys

19.00 - 21.00 Quiz and family entertainment

Tickets: £5 per adult (+ booking charge), children under 16 are free

Refreshments: Tea/coffee/juice and snacks will be available. If you'd like to drink alcohol, please feel free to bring your own.

Parking: Free parking is available at Grainger Town Multi-Story Car Park from 5pm which is a 5-10 minute walk away.
