CONFERENCE INFORMATION

The 2015 AASHTO Internal/External Audit Subcommittee Annual Meeting will be taking place in Portland Oregon from July 19th – 22nd at the Hilton Portland and Executive Tower, 921 SW 6th Ave, Portland, OR 97204. It’s a great location with easy access to and from Portland International Airport via the Tri-Met Max Light Rail train. There are fabulous restaurants, fine stores, a movie theater, and of course the wonderful tree-lined streets of downtown Portland just steps from the door. Our agenda will include excellent speakers ready to present the latest and greatest topics that will appeal to both internal and external auditors, consultant and CPA firms.

LODGING RESERVATIONS

Please make your reservation right away! Lodging reservations are to be made directly with Hilton Portland and may be cancelled up to 72 hours in advance of your arrival with no penalty. We expect rooms to go quickly at our negotiated conference rates, so act fast! When the room block is full, additional rooms at the conference rates may be available, subject to the Hilton's availability. If you are not able to make a reservation before June 28th, there may still be rooms available but at a slightly higher rate.

Changes or cancellations must be made directly through the Hilton Portland. Please make your Hilton Portland reservation as soon as possible through one of the following:

  • Hilton Hotels: 1-800-445-8667 with Group Name AAS (Group is listed as AASHTO Audit Conference)

The group reservation block will expire on June 28th, 2015. After that time, any non-reserved rooms may be released.

We highly encourage use of public transportation to reach the Hilton Hotel from the Portland Airport. Conference staff will be greeting you at the Portland International Airport Baggage Claim area with free MAX Lightrail tickets to get from the airport to the hotel. Additional free MAX Lightrail tickets will be available for your return to the airport. Taxis, rental cars and other modes of transportation are also available if you prefer. There is a daily charge for parking personal or rental vehicles at the Hilton.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

An online registration tool is being used this year to efficiently manage the registration process and to offer payment by credit card. Credit card payment will include a separate handling fee depending upon the amount of the registration fee, and will be identified clearly when you purchase your ticket at online checkout.

You may also register online and pay by check. The Eventbrite ticket fee of $9.95 per person registering will apply to all registrants including those who pay by check. For payment by check, the fee should be included in the total registration check amount. Please make payment by check within 30 days of online registration and prior to July 7, 2015.

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT CODE

Participants will receive a discount of $50 per registration for payments received by May 15, 2015. For online registration, use the code: earlybird2015

Participants paying by check can take advantage of the $50 per registration discount, but payment must be received no later than May 15, 2015.
