Where will the National Day Dinner be held?

Accepted Answer

Maplewood Park  along Lorong Ah Soo. The closest MRTs are Kovan (North-East Line, and Serangoon (Circle and North-East Line). The nearest bus stop is  Paya Lebar Methodist Girls School, which services buses 45, 53, 62 and 113. Parking is also available at the HDB carpark next to the park

Question 2

When will the National Day Dinner begin?

Accepted Answer

The dinner will officially begin at 7.30pm, but you are highly encouraged to reach Maplewood Park at 7pm. We will be having refreshments, as well as a lucky draw.

Question 3

What will be the food served to the Platinum, Gold and Non-Halal Tables?

Accepted Answer

The Platinum, Gold and Non-Halal Tables will be served the traditional Chinese banquet dinner. Please  contact us at wpgc.events@wp.sg with your order number should you like Halal or Vegetarian food served at your Platinum or Gold Table.

Question 4

I've purchased my ticket! What do I need to do next?

Accepted Answer

Kindly hold on to your confirmation email and show it to the ticketing counter on the evening of the Dinner; we will then inform you of your table allocation and present you your ticket(s) (and lucky draw stub!).

Question 5

Can I choose my tables and/or seats ?

Accepted Answer

The seating arrangement will be preallocated. However, we will seat all tickets purchased within the same order at the same table. Please reach out to us at wpgc.events@wp.sg with your order numbers should you wish to combine two separate orders into the same table.

Question 6

Why is the Eventbrite ticket more expensive than the advertised price?

Accepted Answer

The extra charges are administrative fees charged by Eventbrite, which goes to completely to Eventbrite. We appreciate your understanding on the matter.

Question 7

One of my friends require a vegetarian/halal option. Can we still be seated  at the same table?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, due to cost and logistical constraints, we are unable to accede to any request to serve multiple dinner options (ie non-halal and halal/vegetarian) at the same table. This applies across Platinum, Gold and Standard Tables.

Question 8

The tickets are sold out on Eventbrite... is there anyway I can still purchase them?

Accepted Answer

We may be able up to open up more tables on Eventbrite: kindly drop us an email at wpgc.events@wp.sg to express your interest, or check back in a day or two to see if more tickets have been opened up.  Alternatively, you may also contact the number on our posters to express your interest.

What are my available payment options?

Accepted Answer

All payments online will be through Eventbrite, which  accepts Mastercard, Visa or American Express. Should you wish to pay with cash, please contact the number on any of our posters or banners.

Question 10

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Refunds will generally not be accepted. However, please reach out to us at wpgc.events@wp.sg if there are any exigencies.
