About this event
Looking to get started in woodworking and build out your shop? This is the class for you. Learn the basics to get you started on your woodworking projects, including how to safely use the jointer, planer, table saw, miter saw, bandsaw and router. Each student will get some hands-on experience with using power tools and basic finishing techniques. Completion of this course will prepare you to move on to more advanced classes. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Contact store for more details.
Frequently asked questions
This class requires the use of power tools, which requires the attendee to be 14 years or older. Attendees below 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire class. If a parent or legal guardian is required to attend, only 1 ticket is required.
Safety glasses or face shields, hearing protection, gloves, and dust respirators will be provided free of charge as needed. No loose clothing should be worn, long sleeves should be rolled up, long hair should be tied back. No open-toed shoes can be worn during classes.
