Welcome to the WIBU April Luncheon! Join us on Wed, Apr 16, 2025 at 11:30 AM for a delicious meal and networking opportunity at Westminster Village Muncie Inc.

Our speaker this month is Peggy Lewis with the Human Library. They were our organizational ATHENA recepient for 2024. The Human Library is a not-for-profit learning platform, that has hosted personal conversations designed to challenge stigma and stereotypes. Started first as in-person event at fairs and festivals in Copenhagen, Denmark, the Human Library is now in over 80 countries on 6 continents.

The Central Indiana Depot, originally known as the Muncie Depot, started in 2019 with one event and has grown to include Human Libraries in Muncie, Plainfield, Indianapolis, Richmond, Kokomo and Fort Wayne. A Depot is a permanent home for the Human Library in a geographical area. There are only 4 other Depots in the United States.


Organizer Peggy Lewis is the Central Indiana Depot Manager and Head Librarian. After reading about the project in a magazine, she eventually submitted an application to start a Depot here. Don't miss out on this chance to unjudge someone, enjoy good food and great company. See you there!

Can I buy tickets at the door?

No. We are not able to accept payment at the door and request you buy your ticket here for you and all guests.

I don't plan to eat lunch, can I just show up?

We require each member to purchase a ticket ahead of time whether you are eating or not. The ticket fee covers more than just the meal.

Who is this luncheon for?

Women In Business Unlimited relies heavily on the unlimited. We accept women business owners, women who work for businesses, women who shop at businesses and anyone who supports women and business. We have people of all descriptions.
