The Weaverville Art Safari returns for its Spring 2025 Studio Tour on Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. This free, self-guided tour invites art enthusiasts to explore the creative spaces of more than 70 selected artists throughout the greater Weaverville area.
Since 2001, the biannual Weaverville Art Safari has offered visitors a glimpse into the working studios and creative processes of the area's finest artists. The Spring 2025 tour showcases an impressive range of media including ceramics, glass, photography, sculpture, jewelry, painting, metalwork, fiber art, mixed media, and woodwork.
"What makes the Art Safari special is the personal connection between artists and visitors," said Liz Hosier, Chair of the Weaverville Art Safari. "When you step into an artist's studio, you're not just seeing finished work—you're experiencing the environment where creativity happens and having meaningful conversations with the artists themselves."
The event has built a strong reputation for the exceptional quality of artwork on display and the intimate experience it provides, and thousands of art lovers, both local residents and visitors, will attend.
Tour maps will be available on the Weaverville Art Safari website and at local businesses ahead of the tour.
