About this event

Hello everyone!

Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC) provides Valet Bike Parking at each Levi's event. With your help, we provide an excellent service to Levi's guests and help take thousands of cars off the road. This reduces congestion and pollution and gives guests a viable alternative to sitting in traffic and parking lots.

What to Expect:

For football games, Levi's Stadium provides two fenced-off, open-air bike corral, where SVBC volunteers supervise bikes during events. For these events, we will work out of the Gate A and Gate C bike parking corrals.

This volunteering involves:

  • Greeting and explaining intake process to customers
  • Setting up and breaking down canopies and bike racks
  • Intake and registration of bicycles using QR codes
  • Wheeling bikes to/from bike racks
  • Lifting bicycles onto/off of bike racks
  • Monitoring bikes during event
  • Light data entry using QR codes
  • Providing a great customer service experience with a welcoming demeanor

This leaves ample time for you to talk to members of the community and learn about the vast variety of bicycles people ride around town! A meal will be provided for volunteers.

Qualifications

Volunteers must be able to greet customers verbally or non-verbally. Some volunteers need to be able to take tickets from, or hand tickets to, customers, and read numbers off the tickets. Some volunteers need to be able to walk with bicycles and lift bicycles off the ground.

Minor volunteers aged 13 to 17, who are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian are required to digitally sign and send in advance our Minor Consent Form to eleni@bikesiliconvalley.org. If this is a hardship, it is an option to bring a signed hard copy of the form to the shift supervisor the day of the event. Volunteers under the age of 13 must also be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to volunteer.

Parents/Guardians, if your child is coming with you to volunteer, the expectation is that they can be independent and support the bike parking program without your need to supervise them the entire time. You will be working together but must be able to leave them unattended at times. If you are unsure if this is an age appropriate volunteer activity for your child, please contact the Bike Parking Manager at programs@bikesiliconvalley.org.

Site Access

Once registered, volunteers will be emailed closer to the event date with their supervisor's name and phone number, so please stay tuned and make sure your contact information is accurately entered! If you have questions, please email our Bike Parking Manager, Eleni Jacobson, at eleni@bikesiliconvalley.org.

Click here for site access information. We encourage you to bike or take VTA to the stadium, as vehicle access is slow, confusing, and difficult. Please contact eleni@bikesiliconvalley.org for trip planning help to arrive to Levi's Stadium without using a car.
