About this event

CulturalEvery year you receive a warrant for Town Meeting with all of the business before Bedford's voters. But, how are the articles for the warrant created in the first place? What is the history of Town Meeting? How are the warrant articles evaluated financially? In a series of conversations we will discuss these questions and more with our guests and delve into the processes that make Town Meeting happen.

Our guests for this forum will be:

  • Former Town Moderators, Betsey Anderson and Cathy Cordes;
  • Select Board Chair, Margot Fleischman;
  • Finance Committee Chair, Steve Carluccio;
  • Local residents Anne Caron and Heather Leavell

Ann and Heather will share their experience of bringing the Indigenous People's Day warrant article to Town Meeting as residents of Bedford.

There is no charge for this event, it’s The Bedford Citizen’s way of thanking our donors, sponsors, readers, and contributors. Join us!
