Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the outer landscape of our lives — how we work, communicate, make decisions, and imagine the future. But as technology becomes more powerful, the deeper human questions become even more essential: Who are we? What is consciousness? What does it mean to live with clarity, purpose, and freedom?Join Acharya Jonas Masetti for a special evening exploring the age of AI through the lens of Vedanta, one of India’s great traditions of self-knowledge. In this talk, Acharya Jonas will bring ancient wisdom into dialogue with the defining technology of our time, offering a grounded and contemplative perspective on intelligence, identity, and the nature of awareness.The evening will conclude with a guided meditation, inviting participants to move from inquiry into direct experience of the stillness and presence at the heart of Vedantic teaching. About Acharya Jonas Masetti: Acharya Jonas Masetti is a distinguished teacher of Vedanta, dedicated to preserving and sharing the wisdom of the Vedic tradition. A direct disciple of Swami Dayananda, he spent over four years in India immersed in rigorous study, refining his understanding under the guidance of Glória Arieira and other esteemed masters. Recognized globally, he was publicly honored as the Ambassador of the Vedic Tradition in the Americas by the Prime Minister of India and awarded the Padma Shri in 2025 for his contributions to spreading Vedantic wisdom. Originally trained as a Mechanical Engineer, Jonas transitioned from a successful career in finance to fully devote himself to teaching Vedanta through Vishwavidya, an organization that has reached hundreds of thousands of students worldwide. Deeply committed to interweaving ancestral traditions, Jonas has spent years studying Amazonian and Lakota spiritual practices, receiving the title Atutapi Mayru (Teacher of Medicines) from the Shanenawa people and walking the Red Road as a sun dancer and Kola under Lakota medicine man Vernon Foster Wakia un Manee. Through his work, he unites Vedic, Indigenous, and Lakota wisdom, fostering a deeper understanding of universal spiritual truths.
