The Junior NATEA x University of Washington Robotics, CS, and AI Summer Program is a non-profit summer intensive for incoming 5th–9th graders. Learn from UW Professors & World-Class Robotics Champions using the latest LEGO® CS & AI technology. It is a unique mentorship experience led by university professors, with support from high school student mentors, to inspire middle school students through hands-on STEM learning. This 5-day summer program introduces students to FIRST Robotics, computer science, and artificial intelligence through interactive lessons, collaborative projects, and team challenges.


Using LEGO® Education Computer Science & AI Kit, students will explore coding, engineering design, robotics systems, and foundational AI concepts in a fun and supportive environment while building creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.


Program Length: 5 Days

Program Dates: July 27th - 31st, 2026

Program Times: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM


Age Range: Incoming 5th-9th Grade Students (10-14 year old Students)

Only $400/week - Subsidized Community Rate (deadline July 1st)
