The Carework Network is organizing a 2nd three-day conference to bring together carework researchers from across disciplines and across the globe.

Registration includes the reception on Sunday night, lunch and snacks on Monday and Tuesday and attendance at all summit events. Please note that registration costs are in U.S. Dollars.

Graduate students interested in reduced registration in exchange for volunteering at the conference, please email Mignon_Duffy@uml.edu.

EARLY REGISTRATION deadline is March 15th. After that date cost of registration for the summit will increase by 15% to 20%.

Where should I stay during my visit to Toronto?

We have reserved a block of rooms at Kimpton Saint George Hotel (Toronto, Ontario).

Guests also have the option of contacting the hotel directly to make a reservation at 416-968-0010.
Booking number for the room block is M40.

A number of rooms are currently on hold for participants of the Global Carework Summit 2019 at the New College Residence in 45 Willcocks Residence – a great dormitory residence at the University of Toronto on the St. George campus in downtown Toronto.

Special Rate: $48 (Canadian) per night for single rooms. Included is linen and pillow, a small towel, wired and wifi access (Bring your own Ethernet chord for wired internet access). Common rooms and washrooms are down the hall from the rooms. Taxes are currently 13%.

Reservations can be made by going to www.torontores.com and filling out a Reservation Form. Click on Book A Room. Fill out the 2019 Summer Residence Reservation Form for Short Term Stays (between 1 to 28 nights) and e-mail or fax it. Be sure to enter Special Rate Code “GCSUMMIT2019” on your Reservation Form. Book as soon as possible to guarantee availability.
