Step into the world of jazz like never before with a live performance by the incomparable Azar Lawrence! From his early days as a child prodigy to his rise as a jazz icon, Azar’s journey through music is nothing short of legendary.

At just 5 years old, Azar began his musical voyage with the Los Angeles Junior Symphony, but it was the saxophone that captured his heart at age 13. Immersed in the jazz scene from his teenage years, he honed his craft with the Dorsey High School Jazz Workshop and the influential Reggie Golson, son of jazz great Benny Golson.

Azar’s impressive career includes collaborations with Horace Tapscott’s Pan Afrikan Arkestra, the Ike & Tina Turner band, and the Watts 103rd Street Band. At only 19, he joined forces with John Coltrane’s drummer, Elvin Jones, and later, McCoy Tyner’s renowned quartet, recording classics such as *Enlightenment* and *Atlantis*. His collaborations with Miles Davis, Maurice White, Freddie Hubbard, and Marvin Gaye cemented his reputation as a jazz luminary.

With his recent album, *Elementals*, hitting #2 on the Jazz Weekly charts, and the release of *New Sky*, Azar Lawrence continues to captivate audiences with his original compositions and electrifying performances. His band, The Azar Lawrence Experience, features up to eight musicians, delivering a sensational live show that reflects Azar’s deep spiritual connection to jazz.
