This book, written for the Hammond-Harwood Museum, is the companion book to the very popular book, Maryland's Way, The Hammond-Harwood House Cookbook.
Food historian Joyce M. White brings to life the early cultural influences of Maryland's cuisine: Native American, African American, German, and British. In this Tavern Talk and Tour, hear about Ms. White's inspiration for the book and the key cultural influences that formed Maryland's early foundational cuisine as well as enjoy selected readings.
Tickets are $25.00 and include lecture, Q & A, book signing, and Inn tour. Copies of Cooking Maryland's Way: Voice of a Diverse Culture will be available for purchase at a cost of $36.00.
