Ciao! Get ready for a taste of Italy right here in Wilmington, DE! Join us at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church on North Dupont Street for our St. Anthony's Italian Festival.

Indulge in the flavors of authentic Italian cuisine, from mouthwatering pasta dishes to delectable cannoli. Admission on our closing Sunday, 6/15 is donation-based as we celebrate our spiritual and cultural roots with a special Mass honoring our patron, St. Anthony of Padua, and the traditional Procession of Saints around the adjacent Little Italy neighborhood. While rides and games conclude on Saturday, all your favorite food and drink vendors will still be open. Your generosity supports our ongoing capital campaign and helps ensure the future of the festival for years to come.

The Italian Festival is an almost exclusively cashless event. We accept all major credit cards. There will be a booth on-site to purchase Festival Gift Cards with cash in increments of $25 and $50. Frequently asked questions

Is parking available?

Free Secure Parking at Salesianum: Continuous shuttle to Festival grounds (10th & DuPont St) from 30 mins before opening to 30 mins after closing. Park in gravel lot across 18th St from Salesianum, near Little League Field and Abessino Stadium. Look for signage; bus picks up/drops off on 18th St.

Are there discounts available for children or seniors?

Children under 16 and seniors over 61 are admitted for free. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please see our full policy.

Are pets allowed at the festival?

Only service dogs are allowed per ADA regulations. Dogs must be trained for specific tasks related to disability. Emotional support animals are not permitted.

Is there security at the event?

Yes, ensuring the safety and security of all attendees is our top priority. We have comprehensive security measures in place, including a visible police presence, the services of an outside security company, and the use of metal detectors at entry points.

What should I do in case of inclement weather?

Is there an ATM available on-site?

There is no ATM on site. The event is almost exclusively cashless.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

No outside food or drink allowed, except baby food/formula and one bottle of water (up to 20 oz.) per patron.

Each year we host one of the largest Italian-American cultural events in the nation, The Italian Festival. This event is the primary fundraiser for St. Anthony of Padua Grade School.
