This conference is designed for all individuals interested in sharing best practices and recommendations that address inequities in cancer research, prevention, early detection, treatment, and survivorship. Attendees include patient advocates, community partners, future leaders, early-stageinvestigators, and Community Outreach & Engagement (COE) professionals—such as physicians, nurses, socialworkers, community health educators, cancer center administrators andcenter leaders.

The Science of Community Outreach and Engagement (SoCOE) Conference provides a platform for Cancer Center COE stakeholders to share best practices and strategies that address inequities in cancer research, prevention, early detection, treatment and survivorship; to expand community capacity for participation in all aspects of cancer research and care; and to train the next generation of COE leaders for sustainability of our efforts to achieve cancer equity. The 2nd annual SoCOE Conference will take place on May 7-9, 2025 in Oakland, Ca. The theme is "Optimizing Cancer Research Care and Outcomes for All."
