FILM DESCRIPTION: Slay is a documentary that examines the negative effects of the fashion industry's use of animal products. The film follows investigative journalist Rebecca Cappelli as she travels the world to uncover the realities of the fashion industry. The film includes interviews with sustainable fashion advocates and editors from Vogue magazine and Red Carpet Green Dress. Winner of the 2022 International Vegan Film Festival’s Best Vegan-Themed Feature Film.

We will also be screening one of the One Earth Young Filmmakers winning films Black Tide by Chloe Ban.

Stay after the film for an enlightening facilitated dialogue with relevant experts and advocates.

Our Facilitator for the evening will be Ben Kadlec, Sustainability Coordinator, Triton College.

Teens and young adults are encouraged to attend.

What's cool about this venue/host? Triton College has been a One Earth host since 2014, our screening at the Performing Arts Center, provides seating for up to 400 people. Regularly hosting events from dance troops to comedy shows, this venue is a cornerstone of Triton College.
