WAKEFIELD, RI – May 31, 2026 – Renowned jazz vocalist Shawnn Monteiro brings her world-class repertoire and "smoky sensuality" to the Pump House in Wakefield for a special one-night-only performance. Joining her is a powerhouse trio featuring pianist Matt DeChamplain, drummer Gary Johnson, and bassist Marty Ballou.

Monteiro, a Rhode Island jazz icon, is celebrated internationally for her masterful interpretations of the American Songbook (https://shawnnmonteiro.com/epk). The daughter of Ellington bassist Jimmy Woode and goddaughter of Clark Terry, she has shared stages with legends like Kenny Barron and Ray Brown. Her latest acclaimed album, You Are There, has been hailed for its intimate storytelling and deep sense of swing.
