Welcome to September's Friday Night Live featuring Green Room Rockers at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette! Join us on the Fowler House lawn on Fri, Sep. 27th, 2024, at 7:00 PM for a night of live music and fun following our Opening Reception at 6:00 PM. We’ll have chairs up, but feel free to bring your own. Wine and beer will also be available for purchase from the Fowler House.
Emerging from the Midwest, the Green Room Rockers began playing together in 2007 after meeting each other through the Punk Rock scene. The band bonded over their eclectic music tastes and particular obsession with old-school Jamaican and soul music. What began as a fun project to play house-parties for their friends, quickly turned into playing shows all over the US, Canada, and Europe. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses hard-hitting grooves, blues-laced guitar, punchy horn lines with tight vocal harmonies, and infectious organ/piano hooks that will make you want to dance the night away
