With support from Bank of America, EDC is hosting a luncheon to look at the current challenges and innovative solutions to addressing the workforce shortages for San Diego’s Healthcare industry. Under EDC’s Advancing San Diego Initiative, our next industry focus with take a deep dive into the state of our region’s healthcare system by bringing in leaders from industry and post-secondary training programs to examine aligned curriculum and identify barriers to entry. This hosted luncheon will kick-off our Employer Working Group and challenge us to bring bold solutions to San Diego. Topics will include hiring needs and trends, industry changes in workforce dynamics, how AI is impacting the industry, and roles partners like EDC can play to address overall workforce shortages.
