What is Ad Astra Farms?

Ad Astra Farms is a peri-urban microfarm in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Its mission is to support the local food system with sustainably grown produce, home garden consultation and education.

What is the mutual aid program?

The mutual aid program is a farm program that allows families and individuals in need to apply to get free produce from the farm. This program is funded by donations. All proceeds from this workshop will go towards funding CSA shares for the families to feed them all season long.

Is there anything I need in advance for the workshop?

You will receive an email with two templates: a garden planner worksheet and a crop planning worksheet. You may print the garden planner worksheet in advance and follow along during the workshop, or open it on another tab.
