What is included in a General Admission Ticket?

General admission tickets include live music and DJ entertainment, a photo booth, desserts, late-night snacks, and a complimentary glass of champagne at midnight.

What is included in a VIP ticket?

Accepted Answer

All the benefits of a general admission ticket, plus access to a VIP area with a private bar, exclusive hors d'oeuvres, and two (2) drink tickets are included with a VIP ticket.

Question 3

Is this event 21+?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is a 21+ only event and all guests will need a valid ID for entry.  Refunds will not be given for guests who are not 21+ at time of the event.

What should I wear?

Silver and black cocktail attire is encouraged.

Do I have to arrive right at 8pm?

Accepted Answer

Doors open at 8pm but you can check-in at anytime throughout the evening.  Live jazz music starts at 8pm until 9:30pm.  Our DJ takes over at 9:30pm until 1:00am.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

Tickets will NOT be available for purchase at the door.  Space is limited so pre-purchase your tickets  now!

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Bring your ticket (digital or printed,) a valid ID, and your dancing shoes!  Please note, large bags are not permitted.

Is parking included?

Accepted Answer

Parking is not included.  CityFlatsHotel is attached to the Monroe Center Parking Ramp, located at 37 Ionia Ave NW, but is owned and operated by the City of Grand Rapids.  Parking ranges from $20-48/night. Street parking may also be available.

Can I stay the night at the hotel?

All guests are welcome to reserve a hotel room online at www.cityflatshotel.com or by calling the front desk at 616.608.1720.  Rooms and rates are subject to availability.

Question 10

Will there be security at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we will have security at the event to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all.  Please note, outside alcohol is not permitted and any outside alcohol brought into the venue will be confiscated.  Large bags are not permitted and all belongings are subject to be searched.

Question 11

Are tickets refundable?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are not refundable.  However, if you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person.  Contact us at 616.608.1720 for assistance.
