We are pleased to invite you to an exclusive seminar on Edge Computing Technology, where industry experts will share insights into how this transformative technology is optimizing data processing, reducing latency, and enabling smarter, faster decision-making. Edge computing is a transformative technology paradigm that has emerged as a response to the limitations of traditional cloud computing in handling modern data processing needs. Its origins lie in the exponential growth of connected devices, the Internet of Things (IoT), and the demand for faster, more efficient, and localized data processing.

The audience will have a chance to learn about the opportunities in edge computing technology, as well as to network in person to share their thoughts and experiences with peers and to speak in-depth with each panelist after the formal panel presentation.

Joe Blair, General Partner, Bay Bridge Ventures

Joe Blair has dedicated the past 20 years to building and investing in climate tech companies. In 2022, he co-founded Bay Bridge Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage climate tech companies. Before founding Bay Bridge, Joe led investments at Obvious Ventures, Chrysalix Venture Capital, and Cota Capital. Earlier in his career, he worked as an engineer at FlexEnergy and Ingersoll Rand's Energy Services. Joe holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he now serves on the Professional Development Faculty.

Uday Tennety, VP of Product Management, ARMADA | Formerly at AWS and GE

Uday Tennety is a seasoned product leader with a proven track record in driving innovation, building cutting-edge solutions, and scaling global businesses. As Vice President of Product at Armada AI, Uday oversees product strategy, development, and execution, focusing on delivering AI-driven solutions that transform operational efficiency and unlock new growth opportunities.

Prior to joining Armada AI, Uday held impactful leadership roles at AWS, where he played a pivotal role in developing cloud and AI-based solutions that empowered enterprises to modernize their infrastructure. At GE, Uday contributed to driving digital transformation by leveraging industrial IoT technologies, further enhancing GE's legacy of innovation.

With deep expertise in product management, AI, and enterprise technology, Uday combines technical acumen with strategic vision to build products that solve complex challenges. Known for his ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable results, he is passionate about harnessing technology to drive meaningful outcomes for businesses and customers alike.

Uday holds a strong reputation for being an influential thought leader, mentor, and advocate for AI-driven transformation. His collaborative approach and commitment to excellence continue to make a lasting impact on the organizations and teams he serves and holds an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and an MS in Computer Science from UNC Charlotte.

Vishal Sarin, Founder, President & CEO, Sagence AI

Vishal Sarin is a deep tech entrepreneur and engineer with over 25 years of success in various capacities in semiconductors and related systems. His calling is driving and leading company vision, managing boards, investor relations, raising funds, and building efficient business and engineering teams. His seminal work has been in analog in-memory computing using non-volatile memories. Underpinning this are his numerous innovations in associative and in-memory compute architectures; SLC/MLC/TLC/QLC flash; network processors, and artificial intelligence architectures. He has over 100 patents, authored numerous publications, and holds an MSEE from University of Michigan and an MBA from UC Berkeley.

Richard Weinberg, Senior Consultant on Sustainability, USAsia Venture Partners

Richard has led the technical development and global product management for thin-film solar modules that have been used on buildings, vehicles, and power plants. While at Miasole as Director of Engineering, his CIGS thin-film solar modules were installed on thousands of delivery trucks throughout Europe. He is also an Ambassador for Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) in Palo Alto, California. Additionally, he developed Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) systems for the semiconductor industry for over 20 years at Varian and Novellus (since acquired by Lam Research). He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
