Born from two people that have created experiences around celebrating people’s passions, partners Jules Reyes and Jaz Limos married their life’s work into one brand, Saint Matcha. Saint Matcha is an experiential brand that creates events around Jules’ three Instagram communities @matcha.sf @matcha.la @matcha.nyc while including a philanthropic component of supporting Saints of Steel’s mission during each event.Saints of Steel is a San Francisco-based 501(c)3 nonprofit founded by Jaz and Jules that transforms lives by improving the self-confidence of people in need through pop up haircut events that aide in employment, family reconnection, and reaching stable yet safe living conditions. Saint Matcha’s mission is to bring the Matcha SF/LA/NYC communities together to celebrate our love and passion for matcha while prioritizing human connection above all.

Grab your Matcha Baes and prepare to get #matchawasted! On August 25th AND 26th, Los Angeles will experience the FIRST Matcha LA Fest bringing together the community of matcha lovers and businesses highlighted on the instagram page, @matcha.la founded by fellow matchaholic Jules Reyes. Based on the demand, we’re bringing you DOUBLE the matcha with two event dates (Saturday Aug 25th and Sunday Aug 26th) to choose from. Get your #matchabucketlist ready, because you’ll be able to cross off so many matcha finds all in one space!
The only two Matcha festivals in the U.S. have been co-hosted in San Francisco by @matcha.la’s parent company, @saint.matcha. Matchaholics from the brand’s Instagram pages @matcha.sf and @matcha.nyc have inspired the birth of the matcha festivals in two new cities starting in LA this summer.
This will be the kick off festival for the Saint Matcha Tour with future festivals to hit NYC, SF and LA in 2019.

Saturday Aug 25th, 12-5pm (Doors open to VIP holders at 11AM, General Admission 12PM)
Sunday Aug 26th, 12-5pm (Doors open to VIP holders at 11AM, General Admission 12PM)

Festival features include: Access to 20+ vendors in one space, photobooth activations, live DJ, exclusive giveaways, official Saint Matcha festival merchandise, and more to be announced on @matcha.la!

This event will be held indoors with a small outdoor patio

General Admission Ticket: Be the first in LA to experience this matcha wonderland of vendors curated by Matcha Jules. You’ll experience the treats seen on @matcha.la that many of YOU nominated to be at this festival! This matcha fest is packed with photo activations that will leave your Instagram friends wishing they were getting #matchawasted with you. 
VIP Matcha LA Bae Ticket: Matcha LA Bae’s this ticket tier was designed for you. These tickets are extremely limited in quantity. As our special guest, you have early entry at 11am making sure that you can avoid the long lines and have access to all the matcha you can have before doors open to the public. Our VIP Matcha LA Baes will also receive exclusive Saint Matcha swag (Matcha Bae canvas tote bag valued at $30), early entry into the festival to avoid the lines, and an exclusive meet/greet with Matcha LA Founder, Jules Reyes AKA “Matcha Jules”. #FEELGOOD STUFF 
Saint Matcha is focused on making the communities better than we found them. A portion of the festival proceeds, including 100% of vendor participation fees, will be donated to the 501(c)3 nonprofit Saints of Steel. A nonprofit focused on transforming the lives of people in need in LA, SF, and NYC through pop up haircut events helping displaced individuals reach employment and stable housing. Saint Matcha will also provide participants enrolled in the Saints of Steel program job opportunities at the 2018 Matcha LA Festival.

Why should I attend the Matcha LA Fest?
First reason being, this event is a matcha lover’s dream come true! Aside from interactive matcha-themed photo activations, we’re also (intentionally) curating a lineup of vendor to provide you with an opportunity to experience matcha in a myriad of ways. Second reason, Los Angeles is vast and the struggle to get around because of traffic is REAL, you’ll get access to 20+ Los Angeles-based vendors all in one space. Third reason, the Instagram page @matcha.la is more than a resource, it’s a community — you’ll get to share space with thousands of people that share the same passion for matcha as you do.
 
What should I bring to the Matcha LA Fest?
Please come ready with your #goodvibes, this is an inclusive and safe space for all. Also come ready with you best matcha-colored outfit and cash (in case a vendor may not accept debit/credit cards)
 
Will tickets be sold at the door? Unfortunately, tickets will not be available at door. We highly recommend purchasing your tickets online before they sell out. Our events have been know to sell out within days of being announced on our matcha community pages.
 
Are dogs/pets allowed? Dogs and pets are not allowed in the venue. Service dogs are welcome.
 
I’m unable to attend the festival, how can I receive a refund? Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable.
 
Can I sell or transfer my ticket if I’m unable to attend?

I purchased a ticket for Saturday, can I also attend the Matcha LA Fest on Sunday? Entrance is only valid for the date on your ticket. Before purchasing your tickets, please double-check that you’ve selected the correct date you are able to attend.
 
What does my VIP Matcha Bae Ticket include?
As our special guest, you have early entry at 11am making sure that you can avoid the long lines and have access to all the matcha you can have before doors open to the public. Our VIP Matcha LA Baes will also receive exclusive Saint Matcha swag (Matcha Bae canvas tote bag valued at $30), early entry into the festival to avoid the lines, and an exclusive meet/greet with Matcha LA Founder, Jules Reyes AKA “Matcha Jules”.
 
I purchased a VIP Matcha LA Bae Ticket but I’m unable to make it to the early festival entrance between 11AM - 12PM, what should I do? 
We highly recommend planning accordingly to ensure you are able to attend the early festival entry to get #matchawasted and connect with Jules before doors open to the public. Once doors open to the public at 12PM, we are unable to guarantee that yo will receive the same VIP experience given to other ticket holders of this tier. If you are a VIP ticket holder, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your entry time.
 
What does my General Admission Ticket include?
By purchasing a General Admission ticket, you will receive access to 20+ vendors that will be highlighting matcha all in one space! All attendees will be able to enjoy our matcha-themed Instagrammable activations, live DJ, and matcha more!
 
Will I need to purchase individual matcha items from each vendor?
Yes, attendees need to purchase matcha items they wish to indulge in. 
 
I’d like to attend both days of the Matcha LA Fest, is there a 2-day ticket tier available?
Unfortunately, we do not have a 2-day ticket tier available for purchase. If you would like to attend both days of the fest, please purchase a ticket for each day.
 
Will there be options at this festival for us matcha lovers with dietary restrictions?
Absolutely! Some of our vendors will be offering options for our matcha lovers with food restrictions. Stay tuned for an announcement of our vendor lineup and their matcha specials! We’ll be sharing updates on @saint.matcha
 
Will there be Saint Matcha merch for purchase?
You know it! We’ll have an exclusive run of Saint Matcha merch available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds of our merch will be donated to Saints of Steel, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that operates out of Los Angeles.

As of now, we’re currently focused on bringing the matcha communities together in the cities our matcha pages are present in. If we decided to branch outside of our current three cities, we’ll keep you in the loop on @saint.matcha!
