LO Austin Hike at Turkey Creek Trail (Last LO Hike of 2024!)

Join us on our last monthly hike of 2024!
This holiday season, Latino Outdoors joining our friends at REI to #OptOutside and prioritize community and individual health and healing. Latino Outdoors has numerous events from coast to coast, and we want you to join us for our last local hike of the year.
We will also be doing some giveaways so come for a hike and enjoy some cafecito while we enjoy the cooler weather :-)

We will be hiking about 2.7 miles total, roughly 1 hour hike. The route is kid friendly and not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs as there are lots of exposed roots and rocks. Here is a link to the trail that we will be doing --> TRAIL MAP
We will be meeting at a table near the trailhead to do a light stretch and enjoy some cafecito and pan prior to the hike.
There are port-o-potties located at the trailhead and parking area.
We recommend that you dress according to the weather and wear SPF. Please bring a reusable waterbottle and comfortable walking shoes. We will have extra water to refill your bottles.
RSVP required for all attendees. If you sign up and cannot make it after all, please reach out to Elizabeth at doranteseliz@latinooutdoors.org to let us know. It is very important that you let us know instead of no showing.
Reminder emails will be sent out a few days before the event with our waiver and additional information as needed.
