Do I need to bring a printed ticket?

No, we accept tickets displayed on phones as well as printed copies.

How long does the show last?

The Early Years Show lasts for approximately 50 minutes, with time for questions.

What age is this show for?

This show is suitable for ages 3+. Please do not bring children younger than 3 into the Planetarium, as they will not be admitted to the show.

Are there toilets available?

Yes, there are toilets available on the first floor of Southend Museum.

Is there wheelchair access?

The Planetarium is on the first floor of Southend Museum. Unfortunately, there is no lift or step free access to the first floor.

Once booked can I change the time or day of the visit or have my ticket refunded?

No, unfortunately we are unable to change the date or time of the visit once booked. To avoid any disappointment, we would ask that before completing the purchase of tickets you are confident in being able to fulfil your booking. Tickets are non-refundable.
