Looking to make more friends in the LGBTQ+ community? Trying to meet some new faces after two years of the pandemic? Then come join us for an upcoming night of &#x27;Speed Friending&#x27;, hosted by Go Gay DC! Usually about 30 LGBTQ+ folk attend.Based on the popular &#x27;speed dating&#x27; format, &#x27;Speed Friending&#x27; is a social event where attendees are paired-up with strangers for multiple rounds of platonic conversations. There will be approx. 10 structured rounds (5 minutes each) where participants will be randomly paired-up with each other. Using recommended &#x27;icebreakers&#x27;, both participants will engage in friendly discussion about a wide range of topics. And once they hear the bell ring, participants will thank each other and &#x27;rotate&#x27; to the next person.Attendance is free and guests will have access to a full hotel bar (to purchase snacks and libations), so we encourage you to register your attendance in advance!
