Is there an age requirement for this dance?

Yes, there is an age requirement.  Students in attendance must be true high school age, or turning 14 by September 1, 2025.

Parents and students should read the information on this page. If purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to these terms (electronically) when you register. If you purchase a ticket, make sure you understand the Code of Conduct for this event.

Is there a dress code?

Our dress code provides standards to insure a modest, well-groomed appearance for all students. While fashion trends change frequently, it is up to the discretion of the chaperones whether specific clothing meets the modesty requirements or becomes a distraction to the dance environment.

Will a security force be present?

Yes, the KCA Prom will be chaperoned by staff of KCA and will have security guards and police officers in place at the dance.

How much are tickets?

Early Bird tickets are $65.00, until April 1.  Regular Admission tickets will be $70.00, from April 1-April 30.  Late Admission tickets will be $75.00 from May 1-May 9.

What kind of dancing will be at this dance?

Open dancing, line dancing and swing dancing will be encouraged. While some slow music will be played, chaperones will hold students to a tasteful standard and will intercede if dancing is in any way less than tasteful.

What music will be played at this dance?

Parents and teens should know that music at this event will be of secular content, but not explicit.

What happens if I break the dress code?

Dress at all times should be modest and in good taste. Please use discretion to assure your selection is tasteful and above reproach. If your dress is not acceptable, you will not be allowed to enter the dance.

What are the price of tickets5

Early Bird Admission tickets are $65.00.  In April, General Admission tickets will cost $75.00.  May1-9, tickets will cost $85.00.
