Entering its 19th year, the Iowa Irish Fest is an open-air event held on the first weekend of August in Waterloo, Iowa. The Fest provides nearly 50,000 annual attendees the opportunity to participate in a premier cultural event that broadens their global perspective and introduces them to experiences and lifestyles far beyond the Midwest, while acknowledging and celebrating the history of the Irish community.

Children under the age of 15 can attend the fest FREE with the admission of an adult.

Do kids get in for free?

Yes! Children under the age of 15 can enter the fest for free as long as they are with an adult.

How can I get in for free?

Adults and young adults over the age of 15 can always volunteer. As a Thank you for your time, you will receive free admission for the entire weekend along with some other cool perks. Check out our website and look for the volunteer tab to see our current openings.

Do Veterans get in for Free?

A limited amount of Tickets were donated to VetTix. Vet Tix provides tickets to all branches currently serving Military and Veterans for a small delivery fee. Discounted tickets are also offered online and at the Gate for $20.

Do First Responders get in for Free?

A limited amount of Tickets were donated to 1stTix. 1st Tix provides tickets to currently serving and retired law enforcement officers for a small delivery fee. Please visit their website to request your ticket. Discounted tickets are also offered online and at the Gate for $20.
