Discover why Indianapolis was named the best city to see from the seat of a bicycle on a tour of downtown via the Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene and Marilyn Glick, a world-class linear park. From the history of the Cultural Trail’s establishment to the public art installations and gardens along this sustainably designed path to the unique neighborhoods it winds through and greenways it connects, learn about the impact of Cultural Trail on this 2.5 hour guided tour.
Tour is $45 per person and includes 2-3 expert-led tour,and Pacers Bikeshare bike. Upgrade to an ebike for an additional $10. Registration is required to reserve your spot.

Unable to ride or not comfortable on a traditional two-wheel bike? Pacers Bikeshare offers a variety of adaptable bikes that can be reserved. However, reservations for an adapable bike must be complete 48 hours in advance of ride.
Registration
Tickets must be purchased ahead of time through Eventbrite for each participant.
Cancellation Policy
Tour must have 3 registered particpants to depart. If smaller, particiapnts will be notified and fully refunded.
In the case of inclement weather or unsafe conditions, particpants will be notifed at least 1 hour before the scheduled start about cancellation and refunded.
Frequently asked questions
Public Indianapolis Cultural Trails tours are offered on the first Saturday of the month from May through September. at 10 AM. Interested in a private tour another time, contact request@indyculturaltrail.org.
All tours start and finish at the Indianapolis Cultural Trail Office at 132 W. Walnut St., conveniently located on the Cultural Trail and Red Line. A Pacers Bikeshare Station is located nearby and bike parking is available. Paid street parking is available on Capital and other nearby streets.
This is a casually-paced 2-3 hour bicycle tour exploring downtown Indianapolis via the Cultural Trail. The tour will cover 5-10 miles with plenty of stops to learn more about the Trail and the City. Questions are welcome.
We recommend bringing a phone, wallet, water bottle, comfortable clothes for biking, and any gear for the applicable weather such as sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and/or jacket.
Yes, but each participant must have a ticket. Participants must be 18+ to ride bikes.
We got you covered! We have adaptive bicycles, that are specifically designed for people who aren’t comfortable or have mobility challenges that make riding a two-wheeled bike difficult, that can be utilized. Please reserve adaptable bike at least 48 hours in advance of tour.
No, we ask that you please use our Pacers Bikeshare bike so the entire tour is on the same bike and we can ensure it's in good working order.
We generally ride sun or clouds and hot or cold, but we do cancel for inclement weather or unsafe conditions. We'll watch the weather as closely as we can, and riders will be notified at least an hour in advance of any cancellations via the email they signed up with and refunded.
