The Trust is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entity in the process of developing over 50 acres in Downtown Columbia, Maryland into an iconic arts and culture park, Merriweather Park at Symphony Woods. The Trust was created by the Columbia Association, Inc. to develop and manage the Park in connection with significant redevelopment in Downtown Columbia, Maryland. The Trust seeks to provide to the region an iconic arts and culture park, and everyday recreational opportunities, while preserving green-space at the center of Columbia’s Downtown development.

<p>Join us for an all day celebration!</p><p>Howard County Pride celebrates and unites the LGBTQ+ community. Our events and programs advocate, support, and educate. It is our hope that the LGBTQ+ community in Howard County, Maryland finds a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment every time they are at a HoCo Pride event. Join us in celebrating your identity with our community! </p><p>T﻿his family friendly event features mermaids, artisans, non-profit organizations, food trucks, and a stage show of diverse performances anchored by an epic drag show.</p><p>T﻿here's also a special kids' zone for our youngest guests where they'll have a DJ dance party, can hear book readings by Howard County Library, and participate in arts and crafts and games by HoCo Rec and Parks!</p><p>L﻿ook at our social media posts for updates and make sure to register. It's free, but required and you'll be happy to have registered when it's time to find a parking spot.</p>

<h2>What to Expect Onsite</h2><h3>Seating</h3><p>Various picnic tables and other seating options are available.  Lawn chairs are available for rent, or you may bring a blanket.</p><h3>No Dogs</h3><p>No dogs except service dogs are permitted.</p><h3>No Lawn Chairs, Coolers, Large Bags</h3><p>No lawn chairs may be brought in (lawn chairs available onsite for rent).  No coolers, small, soft sided lunch bags allowed.  No large bags/backpacks, all bags must be smaller than 12&quot; in any dimension and must be soft-sided.</p><h3>Bags Subject to Search</h3><p>Organizers reserve the right to search any bags or other items brought into the event.</p>

<h1>P﻿arking</h1><p>N﻿on-ADA parking is in Lot 2 (flat) and Lot 5.  All ADA parking has been assigned. Continue as 175 becomes Little Patuxent Parkway, for approximately 2.3 miles.  Make a left onto Merriweather Drive and follow the signs to Lot 2, which is to the right.  </p><p>From points south: Take 29 North to Broken Land Parkway towards Town Center / Merriweather Post Pavilion.  Make a right onto Little Patuxent Parkway, continue for approximately 0.2 miles.  Make a right onto Merriweather Drive and follow the signs to Lot 2, which is to the right.   </p><p><strong>DIRECTIONS TO LOT 5</strong></p><p>For GPS purposes, please use the address 5937 Symphony Woods Road, Columbia MD 21044.  </p><p>From Points North and West:</p><p>From I-70, exit onto Route 29 South to Broken Land Parkway West towards Merriweather; turn left light at the light onto Broken Land Parkway; turn right at next light onto Hickory Ridge Road, and make an immediate left into the parking area.</p><p>From Points South and East:</p><p>If you are coming from the SOUTH, take Washington DC Beltway I-495 to I-95 North towards Baltimore to Route 32 West towards Columbia. If you are coming from the EAST, take Route 97 North to Route 32 West towards Columbia. Continue on Route 32 to Route 29 North towards Columbia. Take Broken Land Parkway exit 18B towards Merriweather. Turn right at first light, Hickory Ridge Road, proceed straight, make next left, and the next left into the parking area. </p>
