Home for the holidays: Asking about guns in homes

Please join us for this free family event! Acitvities for kids, conversation for adults, and refreshments for all!

This event is organized by Tired Parents (a subgroup of Hyattsville Area Residents for Progress) with support from Art Works Now, Hyattsville City Council, and Hyattsville Police Department.

We will gather together from 4:00pm with refreshments for both kids and adults. At 4:30pm the Hyattsville Police Department will engage the children in age-appropriate gun saftety awareness activities. After this, Art Works Now staff will lead the children in art activites, while the adults have a chance to gather separately for more conversation about how to ask about guns in homes (along with adult refreshments!)

Please note - children of all ages are welcome, but the content is best suited to kindergarten and older.

We will have snacks and refrehsments (including beer and wine!) for both kids and adults. Please help us plan and manage our small budget by RSVP'ing. Since we have limited space available, please be sure you will attend before you RSVP!
