Elevate your wound care knowledge with the Gentell University Wound Certification Course.

This on-demand course offers 4 hours of education to understand the critical elements of the wound healing environment, a thorough look at the four phases of wound healing, a close look at pressure injuries/ulcers, vascular, diabetic and neuropathic wounds as well as many atypical wounds.

This course also addresses various treatment modalities, best practices, as well as appropriate dressing selection. In addition, the course includes pressure injury/ulcer risk assessment and regulatory guidelines related to chronic wounds in the long-term care environment.

Nurses will be able to receive 4 nursing contact hours after completing the course exam and submitting the course evaluation. You will also be eligible to earn your credentials as Gentell Wound Certified (GWC) through Gentell University upon successful completion of the course and exam. Successful completion of the course exam is considered 90% or higher.
