Since its first iteration back in 2022, the need for FUN AND DANCE has only grown stronger. This evening is a hybrid of comedy, dance, and criticism. It is a place for the genres of contemporary dance and humor to cross pollinate, infect, and inform one another.
Hosted and curated by performance artist and all around freak Banana Saxophone (aka Breeanne Saxton), the evening carries you through a Varieté style smorgasbord of dances and comedic sets. The comedians have been encouraged to lovingly roast the dance performances, with the consent of the dancers.
