Join us for a 60-min revitalizing session of Expressive Arts Therapy on the first Thursday of every month. Together, we will gather in community to unwind, process emotions, and explore our creativity through guided expressive arts activities.
Sessions:
Date: First Thursday of every month
Time: 10:00 am ET / 07:30 pm IST
Duration: 60 minutes
Location: Zoom (Login details will be emailed upon registration)
What You'll Receive:
1. A nurturing space to process emotions and explore self-expression
2. Insight into the healing potential of expressive arts therapy
3. A supportive community for sharing, reflection, and healing together
Session Outline:
1. 50-minute Expressive Arts Therapy Session: Includes a check-in chat, guided expressive arts activities, and time for reflection.
2. 10-minute Discussion: Bring any questions you have about starting therapy or exploring expressive arts, I'd be happy to share insights and offer guidance!
What to bring:
Any colors of your choice, pen, pencil, paper, and an open mind.
Please note:
- You don’t need to be an artist or have any art skills to participate in the expressive arts therapy session. Registration is open to anyone aged 16 and above.
- This session is not a substitute for personal therapy. It is a group space to pause, unwind, connect with your heart and body through expressive arts, and reflect in community.
- Arrival time: Please arrive on time. Doors open 5 minutes before the session for settling in & centering and will close 10 minutes after we begin.
- You need a space to sit in a comfortable position.
- During the process you might be invited to move. Listen to your body. If you have any limitations or something doesn't feel right, or there are health related concerns, honor your needs and modify the prompt as necessary.
- Environment: You can bring anything that helps you create a cozy environment. For example: a warm cozy blanket, a cup of tea, palm stones, dimming the lighting in your room.
