Trip/area Description: This 83.7-acre facility is home to a range of natural Florida ecosystems including upland pine forest, mesic oak hammock, a small scrub area, and constructed wetlands. Guide Lani will lead a peaceful morning nature/birding walk along trails that pass through those natural ecosystems. Typical wetland and upland birds are common, and this is a great trip for birders who wish to learn to identify local birds and plants.

Walking distance: 1 mile

Degree of difficulty, and any special instructions: Easy walking on trails.

Where to meet: Intersection of 20th Avenue SW and 5th Street SW, also the location of the Oslo Middle School. Drive east and look for the entrance on the right side of 5th Street SW with signage.
