Join The Happy Black Parent at the Pittsburgh Community Market for art fun! Every 2nd Saturday gather your family and friends to create art in our custom outdoor art gallery. Create your own painted canvas or clay creation to take home and enjoy the market, greenspace and adjacent Beltline trail! See you there!

Is food provided?

The ticket price includes the art materials only, but feel free to purchase treats from the local vendors or bring your own lunch if desired.

What type of seating is provided?

You can choose from sitting under The Happy Black Parent tent or sitting in true 'picnic style' on the lawn. In that case, we'll provide a tarp for sitting and platform to create your masterpiece.

What happens in the case of rain?

We are a rain or shine event. If the weather is not suitable for art fun outside, we will move inside the Nia building of Pittsburgh Yards for the art portion of the day.
