DEE SANCHEZ PAINTING WORKSHOP!

Dee Sanchez is a painter who lives and works in the village of Alameda, NM.She paints big skies, open mesas, chaotic masses of wildflowers, and captures the essence of a scene all in one sitting. Dee is also a daily painter and creates fun and unique challenges for shows and exhibitions.She has been a poster artist for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, and her work is in public and private collections all over the world.

Dee Sanchez will be your facilitator for this one day fun and informative workshop on painting.
The morning will cover what it's like to be a full-time painter, trials and tribulations, materials and tools, the art of daily painting, plein air painting, color mixing, organizing a studio space, and more.
Lunch will be provided.
The afternoon will be a free-for-all creative painting session using gouache paints (opaque watercolor) and watercolor paper.
Open to all levels, beginners are especially welcome. No judgement, no critques.
Limited to 12 attendees.
