Death Outside The Box is an informational conversation between members of The End of Life Care Collaborative and the public.

Together we will explore non-medical end of life options, critical components for creating a personal, positive, intentional, end of life experience.

We all have more choice than we may be aware of. Come talk with home funeral guides, celebrants, end-of-life doulas, and other alternative care providers to learn more.

The event will start at 3:00 and run until 5:00pm.

Cost: $7-$15 Sliding Scale Donation, collected at the door.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This event is most appropriate for mature teens and older. There will be a video depicting a home funeral that will be shown.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is street parking around People's Co-op. Plan on needing to walk a bit to the location. People's is located off of both Powell and Division St. bus lines.

The community room is located upstairs from People's Co-op sales floor and has a lift for wheelchair accessibility.
