Ensemble Altera Presents "Dazzling Light: A Choral Exploration of Illumination and Darkness"

Join Ensemble Altera for Dazzling Light, live in concert in Cambridge, MA. Don't miss your chance to experience this one-of-a-kind concert, featuring some of the finest choral singers locally and nationally, alongside international artists from such distinguished groups as Voces8, Tenebrae, and The Gesualdo Six.This radiant program explores the eternal themes of light and darkness, in both the physical and metaphysical worlds. Be inspired, entranced, stimulated, and comforted by music from the Renaissance through today, including luminous favorites by Tallis, Howells, Whitacre, Wood, and Harris, alongside modern classics by Dove, Martin, Marsh, and Matsushita. Not to mention three world-premiere performances of works written for Altera, including up-and-coming composer Toby Young's exquisite setting of "Light" by Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore. All executed with the uncompromising passion and precision for which Altera has quickly become known. An event not to be missed. Get your tickets now!Ticket InformationThere are three ticket levels from which to choose: <ul><li>Level A tickets, $60 per person: Seated closest to the choir</li><li>Level B tickets, $40 per person: Seated in the middle section.</li><li>Level C tickets, $20 per person: Seated in the rear of the church.</li></ul>Patrons are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, due to capacity limits, but tickets will also be available at the door.Safety ProtocolsEnsemble Altera remains a mask-friendly organization, and surgical masks will be available at the door upon request. If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you consider skipping the event, and we will gladly refund your ticket.
