Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring on the day? Part 1

Helmet – a cycling-specific helmet is compulsory for riding on the track; Shoes and pedals – your own pedals will be fitted to each bike for testing; Riding clothes – bring appropriate gear for on the track, eg jersey/bibshorts, plus extras in case of cold or wet weather.

What do I need to bring on the day? Part 2

Clothes for off the track – a jacket or hoody will help keep you warm when you're not riding; Your Ticket - this will be attached to your confirmation email when you book and have a QR code on which will be scanned on arrival. This can either be printed or presented on your phone or tablet.

What time do the events run from and to?

The track days at The Brownlee Centre, Leeds and the VeloPark London will start at 10am and finish at 4pm. The track day at Odd Down Race Circuit, Bath will start at 1pm and finish at 6pm.

How much does a ticket cost?

Online Track Day Ticket - £35 (on the day £40) Spectator Ticket free of charge but must pre-register for the event. Please note that riders must be at least 16 years old to go out on the track.

What does my ticket include?

Track Day Ticket: Unlimited cycling on your chosen day Lunch and dessert Free coffee Spectator tickets: NO access to track Child tickets: NO access to track

Can I get a refund or switch my ticket to another location?

Tickets are non refundable. For any ticket change enquiries, please contact trackdays@metropolis.co.uk.

Is there a minimum age to buy Track Day tickets?

All cyclists must be over the age of 16 to test bikes and gain access to the tracks. Anyone under the age of 16 who wishes to attend can do so under a child spectator pass and must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Is food available on site?

Your ticket will include lunch (pizza, coffee and dessert) and there will be snacks available to purchase from the coffee stand.

Can I bring my own bike?

The track is reserved for bikes provided by our sponsors only. If you decide to cycle to the event then there will be facilities to store your bike, but storage will be your own responsibility and at your own risk.

What size bikes will be available at the Track Days?

While we do our best to cater for all riders, the bike selection from each brand at the Track Days will likely include frame sizes from 50cm up to 58cm.

Can I bring family and friends?

Yes, family and friends are welcome to attend as spectators free of charge but must register for a ticket beforehand. Please note that spectators are not allowed on the track.
