This research seminar has been organized for the Literary and Cultural Studies Suite of MA Courses in the Department of English, Linguistics and Cultural Studies (Art & Visual Culture MA, Cultural and Critical Studies MA, English Literature: Modern and Contemporary Fictions MA, and Museums, Galleries and Contemporary Culture MA) and will involve a roundtable discussion with students and the teaching teams on those courses, including John Beck, Lucy Bond, Matthew Charles, Georgina Colby, David Cunningham, Sara Dominici, Peter Ride, Elinor Taylor and others.

The aim of the conversation is to critically address the social, economic and political contexts of Donald Trump's presidency through the lens of contemporary art, literature and popular culture. We have sent out invitations to current MA students and alumni from these courses but all staff, students and external guests are very welcome to attend and participate, so please do feel free to share and in particular with those who may be interested in applying for these MA courses, including current undergraduate students.
