About this event

Culture impacts all aspects of an organization, from employee retention to mission impact and effectiveness. Too often, organizational culture is left to chance. But crafting a thriving organizational culture is possible and it begins with setting the right intention. This session will equip you with key concepts and tools to take actionable steps in building a positive supportive culture grounded in current research and human development. The workshop includes interactive exercises, group breakout sessions, and role-play. The goal is for participants to better understand aspects of supportive cultures and identify and reflect on their impact and role in crafting organizational culture intentionally.

Key Takeaways:

  • Learn how to define organizational culture and the complex systems that create it
  • Learn the differences between toxic and supportive cultures as well as understand culture as a continuum
  • Learn a framework for looking at organizational culture through a human needs lens
  • Identify and reflect on their individual impact and role in crafting organizational culture intentionally.

This workshop will be presented by Michelle Mapp, CEO and Chief Strategist of Mapp Consulting Group

Key Area(s) of Excellence: Human Resources
