Join us on Friday, November 15th at 6:30pm: we are excited to welcome author and climate scientist Anna Farro Henderson to speak on her latest release, "Core Samples: A Climate Scientist's Experiments in Politics and Motherhood". Anna is a Providence-born researcher with worldly experience with how science is displayed and interpreted.
This fascinating piece of nonfiction explores the role of motherhood in a politically charged and ever-changing world, it is uniquely told through a wide array of stories that bring to light the realities of environmental policy & the roles of professional mothers.
Anna will be joined in conversation with Rhode Island's own Frank Carini, editor and co-founder of EcoRI News, a journalistic endeavor focused on displaying realities of current climate.
These two minds will collaborate in a discussion on policy, the environment, and society- fielding audience questions and signing copies of "Core Samples".
