New Hampshire Public Radio, in partnership with NH Civics and New Hampshire PBS, invites YOU to the Civics 101 Summit. This is your chance to jump into a live taping of NHPR’s award-winning Civics 101 podcast, meet people as passionate about building community as you are, and leave feeling inspired about being a change-maker in your community.

Kick off with a live taping of NHPR’s award-winning Civics 101 podcast, hosted by Hannah McCarthy and Nick Capodice. In this episode, Beyond Your Vote, learn how you can use your unique skills to create real change in your community. Expect a high-energy experience with live conversations that’ll be featured on the podcast and NHPR’s airwaves!


🥪 Lunch is on us 🍏

After the show, grab lunch and head into one of several breakout rooms on topics like “Inspiring the Next Generation into Action” and “Navigating Civics in the Classroom.” Meet local educators, community leaders and young advocates who will share tips on staying civically engaged. Civics 101 hosts Nick and Hannah will be on hand to answer audience questions.

Where is the summit going to be?

The Summit will be held within the Walker Auditorium on Southern New Hampshire University’s campus. The Walker Auditorium is located in Robert Frost Hall which is between Belknap Hall and the quad. Robert Frost Hall is building H on the campus map: https://www.snhu.edu/about-us/maps-and-directions

Where do I park?

Parking Lots 3 and 4 on the SNHU campus are the best places to park for the Civics 101 Summit. You can see these lots on this map: https://www.snhu.edu/about-us/maps-and-directions

Do I have to attend every part of the summit? (Civics 101 taping and breakouts)

No, but we hope you do!

Is lunch provided?

Yes! Lunch will be provided between the live production of NHPR's Civics 101 and breakout sessions. This will be a traditional box lunch with a sandwich, snack, and dessert. Please email Zoë Kay at zkay@nhpr.org with any dietary restrictions or questions.
